Environmental Safety
Every employer should have a strong knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety.  The reason to have good knowledge will lead to better Environment health safety management. 

It is comprised of developing a systematic strategy to comply with the regulations of the environment, managing waste materials and minimizing the business carbon footprint. In order to have good environmental health and safety, the organizations must have various measures on the ways to address air quality, ergonomics, and other aspects at the workplace, where the health and safety of the employees and the organization have taken includes.

Who is an EHS officer?
The Environmental Health Safety officer, occupational health and safety experts environmental protection officers, safety directors, safety consultants are none other than same. They protect the organization and employees from sickness, injuries and accidents at the workplace and make the organization to run in complying with safety laws and legislation.


Qualifications
After the schooling and college studies, one should complete the course like Certification or Diploma Program in occupational health, safety from reputed Organization. Few employer or high-level positions it needs a master’s degree which is equivalent to  Level 6 health and  Safety Certification. The needs of every industry changes according to the nature of the work, some fields need special training after their traditional training.

Example: Someone who works in an office environment should deal with various conditions than the one who works in the heavy industrial situation.

Role and responsibilities of EHS Officer:
The Environment health and safety managers and officers inspect, evaluates the environment, devices and work in the working area to make sure that the works are been carried out in compliance with government legislation and international industry standards. 

The ultimate goal of the EHS officer is to protect and prevent the employer, employees,  clients and the workplace from various potential hazards. They find the potential hazards of biological, chemical, radiological substances and they do collect the samples to do furthermore analysis.

They create new safety plans in order to prevent the employees and train them on how to safeguard themselves on health and safety issues by means of utilizing the safety programs. EHS officers also investigate incidents and accidents occurs at the workplace and find the solution to evict them in the future.
